Calling All Pirate Lovers

Red Earth prepares to set sail with A Little Commitment and mac Birmingham this Easter. Join them on the high seas in a great nautical adventure.

Set on the pirating high seas, a perfectly capable, yet diminutive Pirate (the world’s smallest) and a dowdy Parrot of gigantic proportions (the world’s largest) meet in a strange twist of fate.

Follow this hilarious odd couple as they discover bountiful hidden treasures sailing through giant storms on rough seas, fighting untold scary-things in their journey of discovery and friendship: to find somewhere safe that they can call home.

A funny and entertaining show for the whole family.

Red Earth are delighted to be working with the Midland’s newly formed and incredibly talented theatre company –  A Little Commitment. Co-founder, Kiruna Stamell, played the outrageous Witch in our co-production of  The Lost Happy Endings with mac Birmingham. Gareth Berliner, the other half of the partnership, is a nationally acclaimed stand up comedian. The set will be Designed by Red Earth’s award winning Associate Artist – Laura McEwen.

So, we’re all in for some great fun and frolics as we explore the making of this wonderful show.

Easter Performance dates:

Monday  21 April: 11 a.m. and 2.30 p.m.

Tuesday 22 April: 11 a.m. and 2.30 p.m.

Make your Easter a fun one for all members of the family. We don’t mind if you all come wearing a patch, or if Dad dons the whole pirate outfit. Just please don’t bring your own live bird. It might upset Parrot.
